In the quiet dawn of my golden years,
Where wrinkles trace the map of my past,
I find moments that bring me near,
To the beauty of life that will forever last.
Once a vibrant youth, full of reckless flame,
I chased dreams on the winds of wild desire,
But now, as age embraces my every frame,
I find wisdom in the embers of life's fire.
With every line etched upon my weary face,
I see stories written in the ink of time,
Glimpses of laughter, love, and pain leave their trace,
Reminding me of moments that were truly mine.
For in aging's tender embrace, I have found,
A tapestry woven in passion's grand design,
Where every thread, every memory profound,
Weaves a melody that makes my heart align.
The sun, now gentler, basks me in its glow,
As birds serenade with melodies of the air,
I watch as seasons change, come and go,
And marvel at life's intricate affair.
Gone is the haste that once consumed my days,
Replacing it with a quiet wisdom's bloom,

my art suffers

I temporarily gained
an aversion
for solitude
and surprisingly
I was in the mood
to be loved and held
but everyone was used to
the old version of me
that didn't know how
to accept touch
or never dealt with
how I felt
Am I not allowed to change
or grow
I feel
like veal
boxed in
left in the dark
ready for the slaughter
no one allots for
how it's so hard
to be naturally guarded
and still want for closeness
but I guess
everyone always wants you
until they have you
then they straddle the fence
wanting to see which side is greener
when it's greenest
wherever you water it
I can't afford to wait
for them to figure that out
nor do I deserve the apprehension
but honestly I'm not offended
I'm oddly relieved
to return
to that version of me
they're unknowingly requesting
there is a sense of validation
in that vague familiarity
in life's ability
to be cyclical
yet unpredictable
I know someone is going to hurt me
but I never know how
And in no time
I'm reminded
why I've taken solace
in my solitary confinement
because at least there
I know what to expect
I've grown accustomed
to the nothingness
found my sliver of light
amongst the darkness
and it's too late to readjust
to the brightness
What was I thinking
momentary lapse in judgment

as if
someone who matches
and reflects
my design
could ever really exist
be it friendship
or romantic
I'd be setting myself up
for disappointment
to think
I could discover
one who could
hold my interest
be reciprocative
and transparent
in their true colors
that's why I thrive in isolation
I'm never lonely when I'm alone
I'm loneliest with others
Villain Era
When it comes to a relationship
I'm no longer willing
they say if you live long enough
you become the villain
and that's who I am now
when it comes to commitment
I'm a cynic
I'm done
wasting time with hopes and wishes
I've come to be realistic
that all that disney love they filled
our minds with
that convinced us
that with the right one
it'd be effortless
and serendipitous
was bullshit
happy endings are fictitious
love isn't like that
it's traumatic
and vicious
toxic and acidic
it'll shatter you into a million pieces
love is suffering
and most often
all for nothing
or at least that's been my experience
hence me being villainous
that rather have loved and lost perspective
was said by someone innocent
or perhaps ignorant
but no one would have ever
rather lost something that became
a piece of them
We will always have ourselves

I want to leave again
After vacationing, there is a bittersweet feeling that lingers in the air. The blissful moments spent exploring foreign landscapes, indulging in delicious delicacies, and immersing oneself in a new culture leave an indelible mark on the soul. The feeling is a mix of contentment and longing, as the vacation may have come to an end, but the memories and experiences remain etched in one's heart. It is a sense of replenishment, an escape from the boring routine, and a reminder of the beauty that exists beyond the confines of everyday life. As the suitcases are unpacked, the feeling after vacationing serves as a gentle nudge to appreciate the journey and eagerly anticipate the next adventure that lies ahead.

The Wolf who leads the Pack
In the heart of the wilderness, strong and bold. A lone wolf roams, its spirit untamed, untold. With piercing eyes, wild and full of fire. The pack follows its steps, inspired by its desire. A creature of the night, cunning and wise. The leader of the pack with ears sharp as ice. A silhouette against the moonlit sky, A majestic figure, always ready to defy. Through valleys and mountains, they journey on. Swiftly they run, their unity unbroken, strong. They trust in their alpha, their guide in the night. With every beat of their hearts, they take flight. The leader, fierce and fearless, charts the course. Calling the wolves, a symphony of a primal force. Their howls through the misty air. Guided by intuition, unity is so rare. In the face of danger, the pack stands tall. The leader's copper eyes, a beacon to recall. Together they conquer, and their boundaries elevate. But the lone wolf knows a burden it must bear. For every step it takes, it feels the weight of care. Concerned for the pack's safety, it leads with grace. Balancing strength and love, an unyielding embrace. For the leader understands the responsibility it holds. To protect and provide, as the pack unfolds. Honoring the law of nature, their hunger to fulfill. As a reminder of their bond, their connection won't cease. A wolf leading its pack, a testament to loyalty and might. Together, they roam, their spirits forever igniting the night. So let us learn from the wolf, the leader brave and wise. To trust in ourselves, to soar beyond the skies. To be guardians of our pack, united in stride. Embracing our wild hearts, with courage as our guide.

Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to please others that we forget to take care of ourselves. We put everyone else's needs before our own and end up feeling drained and empty. But it's important to remember that it's okay to be selfish sometimes. In fact, it's necessary for our well-being. We need to prioritize our own needs and happiness before others. This doesn't mean we should completely ignore those around us, but it does mean that we need to take care of ourselves first before we can effectively care for others. So don't feel guilty for saying no to that extra task or taking a break when you need it. It's time to be selfish and put yourself first.

Father's deserve Flowers
Raising kids is a journey,
A journey that's full of love and worry,
A journey that lasts a lifetime,
A journey that's bound to be divine
From the first cry to the first step,
From the first word to the first test,
You guide them through the ups and downs,
You teach them to get up when they frown
You watch them grow and become,
Become a person that's unique and fun,
A person that's full of wonder and joy,

Searching for Beauty
Perfection. Some things are just that. Like a day out with my oldest daughter. But perfection only exist in moments. Perfection can be a piece of music that makes your heart dance. When people say “That’s perfect” it really means that thing is making them feel the highest joy. That’s the reason it seems like everyone is addicted to social media. The perception of a perfect life. It’s so far from the truth. Now that I get close to my 40’s I do not seek perfection in people. You will be disappointed every time. I seek one's beauty. A smile. A joyful laugh. The feeling you get when you are around them. Also a piece of art that speaks to your soul. At this point of my life I am trying to hold on to what I find beautiful.

Time is Romantic
I met you at the wrong time i see. Our path will intersect again. I will enjoy our talks & laughs again. I know it. How much do I miss counting the stars through my coupe’s sunroof. Holding hands listening to Drake’s “Madonna” song. Hope you don’t forget me.
We act like we know our expiration date. We do not. Why not enjoy every moment? What's stopping us? Ourselves. We can be so arrogant and at the same time we can be so ignorant. The negative thoughts we think are real but the positive ones we toss out. Why is that? Is it too much to think we are worthy of love? The more you live the more you realize you deserve happiness. The more time you have with yourself you realize the real YOU. Open your eyes. Not everyone is good for you. Just like some foods you have to stay away from people can give you a headache, bad feeling in your tummy. Listen to yourself. You are the most important character in YOUR life. The more time we have on planet earth the more you can grow. Don’t stop GROWING. Do not focus on the past but focus on your next step. Time doesn’t sit still so why would you?

Yoga Thoughts
While I meditate…
I look into myself. I need to thank myself. My heart has been strong. Dealing with mistakes. But that’s life. It gives & takes. I know it could not happen without your love. You gave me the power. Made me realize the light in me. The Faith, in me.
I was having conversations with my brother and he told me “Gotta write your legacy then reach back because if you focus on reaching out now your legacy won't ever be written”. That message hit me different. He was speaking to the fact lately I have been trying to detach myself from negativity. Some people are naturally negative from their past.“Thief of joy.” Learning to be selfish has been so difficult. No need to feel guilty about their attitude towards life. Everyone’s journey is unique to their choices. I have to choose for myself, my path. No need to save everyone. Do what I LOVE. Be who I LOVE. Create what I LOVE.
In conclusion i want to Thank You GOD. The message was clearly received. It has been in me the whole time. Like Master p said “The Glory is in you”
