Father's deserve Flowers

Raising kids is a journey,
A journey that's full of love and worry,
A journey that lasts a lifetime,
A journey that's bound to be divine

From the first cry to the first step,
From the first word to the first test,
You guide them through the ups and downs,
You teach them to get up when they frown

You watch them grow and become,
Become a person that's unique and fun,
A person that's full of wonder and joy,
A person that you love and enjoy

It's not always easy, that's for sure,
There will be times you feel unsure,
But through it all, you never give up,
You keep on going, filling their cup

Raising kids is a beautiful thing,
It's a never-ending song that we sing,
A song of love, of hope, and light,
A song that will continue day and night

So take a breath, and enjoy the ride,
Take a moment to stand by their side,
For no matter what, they know you care,
And in their heart, you'll always be there

The joy I have just hanging around my kids. Playing video games with them. Watching a movie with them. Simple conversations with them. I treasure. Being a father has been truly a pleasure.
