If there’s an afterlife

I long for it to be a symphony

for then I can play in between the forte 

while the notes create 

a rainbow measured indefinitely 

while I rest in the clef note whenever I need

then two-step staccato with ease

for what better way to spend my forever days

inside the tone of the artist divine’s key
