No time to die

Though my flesh may wither away
And the light in my eyes may fade
I know that my spirit will stay
Forever in the hearts that I've made

The memories we've shared together
Will keep me alive through the years
My laughter, my love, and my anger
Will echo through their joyful tears

Each hug and each gentle caress
Will resonate long after I'm gone
And though they may feel my absence
They'll find solace in the love I've shone

So let them not mourn for my passing
But celebrate the life that we've shared
For though I may not be living
In their hearts, I'll always be there

And when they look up at the stars
Or watch the leaves dance in the breeze
They'll feel my presence near and far
And be reminded that love never leaves

For though my mortal body has faded
And my time on this earth is done
I'll forever be living and braided
