Love in...Red Ink

Love in...Red Ink

Pain in her past. She only wears black. Fell in love with poetry. Wanting to express her self in another way. So she writes in her journal. Tears of joy fall down to her black lipstick. Weary of LOVE. Constant of denial of LOVE. Her past taught her not to enjoy the bliss. Its almost certain every feel, finishes with heartbreak. Wanting more. Maybe its timing. Maybe its faith. He makes her smile. She wants to put her walls down. But the tragedy she went through cant be unseen. One sign of a red flag her walls are back up. Covering her. Putting her in the shadows. Not where she belongs but where she feels comfort. He continues to make her smile. He continues breaking barriers. She writes him a letter. Words in black. She finally opens up. She told him she promised she wont let go of the LOVE she held. She didn’t understand why GOD put her through all this pain. She expresses how his joy gave her hope. She finally agreed to go on their first date. For the first time in years she doesn’t wear black. But a white t-shirt with the word LOVE in RED INK.

I had this one in my mind for a few months. Sometimes we are our worst enemy. I had to understand letting go is normal. We think we know the outcome of every interaction and choice. But in truth we don’t. Some souls can change your perspective FOREVER. Why are we so afraid of changes? Dont be afraid to jump into your belief.

Peace & Love
